The Divine Mother- Adi parashakti

As per Devi Puran Adhi Parashakti is considered to be a main source of energy for the creation of the whole universe
As Per science which says the earth and all planets are created by a concept of Star explosion from Blackhole . Similarly the creation of the whole universe is described in Durga puran
From Nirakar to Sakkar ( form of Nothing to a Form of something) then the creation begins
In Complete hindu mythology many people have many doubts regarding the  Adhi Parashakti

Trinity - Shiva , Vishnu , Brahma was created by Adhi Parashakti
Trinity of goddess - MahaKali, Maha Lakshmi , Maha Saraswathi  where made as soulmates to the trinity to full fill their duties successfully.

For Creation of Male and And Female beings ,Shiva and MahaKali were in ardhanarishwar form
Then to help Brahma- Shiva was forced to sacrifise Mahakali - then adhi Parashakti  Granted a boon to Shiva saying - she would be his companion when she take form of human - Sati, Parvathi .Hence Parvathi Devi - considered to be Adhi parashakti.and also said that Shiva needs to do penance for long time to become eligible for the Adhi Parashakti Human form. which makes him Devonka Dev.

Since then Rudhra , Shiva keeps on doing penance and once Parvathi and Shiva are united his ardanarishwar form is also regained and he has equal powers as Adhi parashakti in form of Parvati is his soulmate.

Adi Shakti diversion to groups

Children are more familiar with the mother than with the father. Mother is an embodiment
of affection, tenderness and love. She looks after the wants of the children. Whenever a child wants
anything it approaches the mother rather than the father. In spiritual matters also the aspirant has
more concern with Mother Kali than Father Siva. Siva is indifferent to the external world. He is
unattached. He is lost in Samadhi with His eyes closed. It is Sakti or the Divine Mother alone who
really looks after the affairs of the world. She will introduce to Her Lord for the attainment of final
emancipation when She is pleased with the earnestness of the devotee.
Siva and Sakti are inseparable. This is shown in Ardhanarisvara—Siva and Parvati (with
one body, half-male and half-female). Lord Siva has Parvati as the left half of His body.
Siva-Jnana leads us on to the realisation of Self and bestows on us eternal bliss and frees us
from births and deaths. It shows us the light of life. It is the eye of intuition. It is the third eye of Siva.
This third eye destroys all illusions and passions.
Sakti is thought of in various forms. Sarasvati is the Goddess of learning. Lakshmi is the
Goddess of wealth. Parvati or Uma is the bliss-bestowing Goddess.
The Markandeya Purana contains seven hundred verses which are known as the Sapta-sati
or the Chandi or the Devi-Mahatmya. It is one of the most famous religious texts of the Hindus. It
ranks almost equal with the Gita. It describes in an allegorical form, that in the path of salvation the
chief obstacles are our own desire, anger, greed and ignorance and we can overcome them through
the grace of Divine Mother if we sincerely worship Her.
The book gives a beautiful description of the three aspects of the Mother as Mahakali,
Mahalakshmi and Maha Sarasvati—the Tamasic, the Rajasic and the Sattvic aspects of the Divine
Mother.
The Devas were oppressed by the Asuras. The gods invoked the blessings of Divine Mother.
She appeared as the above three forms and destroyed the Asuras and protected the gods. The Divine
Mother has given men as well as gods, Her definite and infallible promise that whenever they would
remember Her in danger or difficulties She would save them.

Sakti Energises the Trimurtis
O Lord Siva! Silent adorations unto Thee! Thou art the only refuge, the only object of
adoration, the one Governor of the Universe, the self-effulgent Being. Thou art the creator,
preserver and destroyer of the universe. Thou art the Highest, the Immovable, the Absolute.
Sakti is the energy or the vital power that makes any activity possible. When a man does any
work he does it only by virtue of his Sakti. If he is unable to do the work he says that he has no Sakti
to do that work. Hence Sakti is that which enables one to work. Sakti is Devi. Sakti is the Divine
Mother. Mind is Sakti. Prana is Sakti. Will is Sakti.
Devi Bhagavata deals with the forms of Prakriti. Devi took the Trimurtis to Her abode in
Manidvipa, gave them their consorts Sarasvati, Lakshmi and Parvati and sent out for the life of
universe in the new Kalpa.
Lord Narayana created Brahma from His navel. Brahma did not know what to do. Vishnu
and Siva also did not know how to set going the life of a new universe in a new Kalpa after the
dissolution. They were lifted in a Vimana or celestial car and they soon reached a strange region
where they were transformed into women. They were in a land of women headed by Devi. It was
Manidvipa in the Sudha Samudra, the ocean of nectar. The newly made women stayed there, for a
hundred years. They did not know who they were, why they were there and what they were to do.
Then they were put in the company of men and they themselves became men. They were
coupled, Brahma with Sarasvati, Vishnu with Lakshmi and Siva with Parvati. They found
themselves at once in their original place and they knew what to do. They understood their
functions. The Trimurtis attain Sakti through association with the Devi.
Parvati is the Sakti of Lord Siva who bestows Jnana and Mukti on men. Lakshmi is the Sakti
of Vishnu who gives prosperity to the people. Sarasvati is the Sakti of Brahma who creates the
world. Radha is the Sakti of Lord Krishna who leads humanity to Mukti through Bhakti.

Association with Trimurti as original Self

In Devi Purana, It is written that when different sages were asking the great sage Suta, who have listened the Purana from Lord Krishna himself, that if all the puranas like Shiv Purana, Vishnu Puranas etc claims that if Trimuti are eternal and nobody is superior to them in this Brahmanda (World) and also that trinity is oneness and oneness is trinity then Please tell us who is Adi Parashakti, whom you are talking about? How she took birth? When she was born. please tell us!

Suta Said There is no one who can answer you this. Since Brahma, Narada and other eternal sages are bewildered by these questions. Some people worship Lord Vishnu having all the powers and the one who is omnipresent. And some claiming Lord Shiva with half body of Parvati is supreme. In Vedas it is written that worship of Sun is the best. They name highest soul Surya as Paramatama. Others claiming that Lord Vishnu is actual expression of all the deities. The Great Brahmins provide three proves called perception, inference, and verbal testimony. But some other Brahmins added 4th proof to them that is resemblance. Another intelligent pandit added fifth proof called circumstances, presumption, implication at last two authors added two more proves called Sakshi and Aitijya. But Vedanta said that Supreme Being and main source of Universe can not be analyzed through these proves. One should have sure reason to claim. All are claiming and repeating one name directly or indirectly i.e. Shakti or Energy. Who is actually omnipresent in all beings. Shakti is there in Highest "Vishnu" to lowest "Insect". We Worship because of energy, we walk because of shakti, we do all the activities because of shakti. So How can "Creation/Preservation/Destruction" be done without shakti. Shakti is required to get a soul into a body, Shakti is required to sustain soul to live, Shakti is required to destroy/release from a Body. Even if Kundalini Shakti be deprived from Lord Shiva then He will be a Corpse. Association with Nava-Greh or Nine Planets as Material Shakti

Adi Shakti is regarded as the one who can control all the nine planets. She divides herself to Material Shakti i.e. Durga who splits herself to operate nine planets to maintain cosmic order, Vidya Shakti i.e. Kali as source for 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu and Maya Shakti, to delude the beings to illusion and also promotes the beings to Ultimate God. As Durga Shakti She is the one who splits herself to NavaDurga provides direction and energy to all planets.

Sun is Governed by Kushmanda Shakti.
        Mahagauri operates Rahu.
        Kaalratri governs Shani.
Ketu is governed by Goddess Sidhidhaatri.
Provider of Knowledge i.e. Bhrasapati is governed by Goddess Katyayini
Provider of All Fortunes i.e. Mangal is governed by Goddess Brahmacharini
The effect of moon is overcome by Goddess Shailputri
Budh Planet is governed by Goddess Skandmata
Shukra Planet is operated by Goddess Chandraghanta

By this contrast Goddess Adi Shakti controls Nava Greh. Worshipping the nine goddess in Navaratri or Nine nights of mataji, saves you from dangerous effects of planets.
Association with ten avatars of Lord Vishnu as Vidya Shakti

As told above, Adi Shakti has divided herself to Material Shakti (Durga or Parvati), Kali (Vidya Shakti) and Yog Maya (as Mayashakti). As Vidya Shakti she splits herself to 10 kinds of eternal knowledge also known as 10 Mahavidya. The ten goddesses are known as wisdom goddesses. As per tantras these ten goddesses are original source of ten incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

From Dhumavati, Lord Mastsya was incarnated
From BaglaMukhi, Lord Kurma was incarnated
From Bhairavi, Lord Varaha was incarnated
From Chinnamasta, Lord Narsingh was incarnated
From TripurSundari, Lord Vaamna was incarnated
from Matangi, Lord Parshurama was incarnated
From Tara, Lord Rama was incarnated
From Kali, Lord Krishna was incarnated
From Kamala, Lord Buddha was incarnated
From Bhuvaneshvari, Lord Kalki will be incarnated

The information is sourced from Sri Devi Bhagwata Mahapurana.
Association with Beings (demi-gods, living beings and demons) as Maya Shakti

Goddess Adi Shakti lastly splits up as Maya, Mahamaya and Yogmaya. It is she who actually creates three kinds of Maya such that One subordinate another. In this respect, we have Yogmaya, Mahamaya and Maya.
YogMaya

She is the one who actually creates maya on gods and teach them what to do and what not to do so that they can be connected to ultimate GOD. She helped Lord Mahavishnu slay the demons Madhu and Kaitabha to save the world. Moreover, she is also the one that who takes Lord Vishnu to mystic Sleep hence called Yog Nindra of Lord Narayana. She was born from the eyes of Mahavishnu as YogMaya. It is required by yogis, sages and bhaktas so that they can be connected to GOD.

MahaMaya

She is the goddess that destroys the upfold of illusion. She is the one that creates and destroys maya. She is controlled by Yogmaya and hence subordinate to YogMaya and senior to Maya. She emerges as seven mothers to destroy evil forces of Shumbha and Nishumbha, Being Chamunda one of them. She is required to gain physical strength, health, satvik attributes and demotes Lust, anger, greed, affection and arrogance.
Maya

She is the one who delude from GOD and takes any being to the world of illusion. She promotes lust, greed, anger, hyper emotion and arrogance. It is assumed that in the Age of Kali Yug. Her effect is highest.
Adi-Parashakti forms

Parvati, Sati, or Durga is the original manifested form of Mother Adi-Parashakti. She is Adi- Parashakti herself. The Devi Gita declares her to be the greatest Goddess. Thus, She is considered the supreme Goddess and primary deity in Shaktism, occupying a place similar to Lord Krishna in Vaishnavism. Whatever deity one is worshiping, ultimately, they are worshiping her. She is every other goddess. She is Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati in her mild form; Goddess Kali and Goddess Chandi in her wrathful form.
Mahasaraswati is the first partial expansion of Goddess Adi Parshakti. She represents the Sattva Guna and is the shakti of Lord Brahma. She is the goddess of wisdom, creation, and learning. She is the source of all of the arts. It is she who slew Sumbha and Nisumbha, who are symbols of ignorance. She was created from the body of Mother Parvati and is the embodiment of her hard work, spirituality and devotion. She is also known as Ambika Devi as per Durga Saptashati. She wears yellow clothes when she takes form. When she is without form, she becomes the Primordial Sound.
Mahalakshmi is the second partial expansion of Goddess Adi Parshakti. She is the goddess of the material world and its preservation. She also brings good fortune and spiritual satisfaction. She is the shakti of Lord Narayana and is the bestower of all wealth and pleasure. She wears red Cloth. She was born from Goddess Parvati's mind and later took birth as Katyayani. She is also known as Chandi Devi as per Durga Saptashati. Mother Mahalakshmi is the primary deity of the Raja Guna. When she is formless, she becomes light.
Mahakali is the third partial expansion of Goddess Adi Parshakti. She is the goddess of spiritual fulfillment as well as presiding over the destruction of the universe. She gives salvation to mankind. She is the shakti of Lord Shiva. She helped Lord Mahavishnu slay the demons Madhu and Kaitabha. She was born from the eyes of Mahavishnu as YogMaya. Mahakali is same as Yogmaya also known as Tamsi Devi as per Durga Saptashati. Mother Mahakali wears blue and presides over the Tamas Guna. When she is formless, she becomes heat.

Nandi, the vehicle of Lord Shiva

There was once a sage called as Shilada. Shilada did not have any children. of his own, but he adored children. He wanted to adopt a child, but he did not want to adopt just any child. He wanted a special child blessed by Lord Shiva. So he worshipped Lord Shiva for many years.

Lord Shiva finally appeared before Shilada, 'What boon do you seek, Shilada?'

'A child. I wish to have a child, Lord Shiva.' Shilada said bowing before Lord Shiva.

Shiva smiled. 'You shall have it soon' He said and vanished.

Shilada returned home a happy man, knowing that the Lord would bless him with a very good child. The next day he went to the farm to begin his ploughing, when he found a beautiful baby in the field before his plough. The baby's skin glowed with a beautiful white light.

Shilada stared at the baby transfixed, when he heard a voice from the heaven, 'SHILADA, TAKE THE CHILD. BRING HIM UP WELL!'

Shilada was overjoyed as he took the boy home. He named the boy Nandi. Right from his childhood, Nandi was devoted to Lord Shiva. Shilada brought up the child with love and care. Shilada taught the child the Vedas and gave the child a good education. Nandi was a brilliant boy and learnt everything very fast. Shilada felt very proud of the child.

Some years later, two sages – Mitra and Varuna came to Shilada's home. 'Welcome great sages!' Shilada gave the rishis some refreshments, 'Please sit and make yourself comfortable.'

'Nandi!' Shilada called his son. Nandi came from inside the house. 'Nandi please make sure these sages are well looked after.'

Nandi smiled and nodded his head. 'Yes father!'

Nandi looked after the two sages well and after enjoying the stay, the sages said that it was time they left. Before they were about to live, Shilada and Nandi both prostrated before the two sages.

Mitra and Varuna first blessed Shilada, 'Have a long and happy life, Shilada. You have made us very happy!'

When Nandi fell at the feet, the two sages looked slightly sad. Slowly they said, 'Be well son! Be good to your parents and your teachers!' And they walked off, outside the house

However Shilada noticed the change in the expression of the sages. He ran outside the house, 'Great rishis!' He said breathlessly. He turned around and made sure that Nandi was inside the house and could not hear him,  and talked to the sages, 'You looked sad while blessing my son!' Shilada said feeling terrified, as he was thinking of unpleasant things...'Is...is something wrong?'

Mitra looked at Shilada with pity, 'I cannot wish your son a long life....' Mitra said softly.

Shilada looked in absolute panic. 'What is going to happen to my son?' He whispered.

'Your son, does not...' Varuna cleared his throat, '...does not have long to live, Shilada. I am sorry...' He said lamely, looking at the horrified expression on Shilada'a face.

Shilada stood there transfixed for a long time. After a long time, he slowly walked back home with stooping shoulders and a broken heart.

Nandi immediately guessed something was wrong, 'What is it father? What happened? What...' Nandi asked, vigorously shaking his father.

Slowly and painfully, Shilada narrated his conversation with the two sages.

He expected Nandi to be scared or even that Nandi would even start crying. However Shilada was surprised when he heard Nandi's laugh. 'You were scared of what the sages said!' He said still laughing.

Shilada wondered what could be so funny and looked at his son without any expression.

'Father, you have told me that you have seen Lord Shiva...' Nandi said with great devotion in his eyes. 'Anybody who has seen Lord Shiva cannot be afraid of what the sages just said.'

Shilada still looked dumbly at his son, not understanding. 'Father, it is my fate to die, then Lord Shiva can reverse my fate! He is the most powerful God and can do anything. Do you think he would let anything happen to us, when we worship him?' Nandi looked at his father challengingly. 'I don't think so., father..' Nandi said softly.

Shilada looked at his son as if looking at him for the first time. Slowly Shilada nodded his head and smiled.

Nandi bowed to his father. 'Bless me father!'

Shilada blessed his son, 'Be victorious my son!'

Nandi then went near the River Bhuvana. He entered the river and began his penance. His devotion was so great and his concentration was so high, that Lord Shiva appeared almost instantaneously.

'Nandi, open you eyes!' said the three eyed God tenderly, looking at Nandi.

Nandi opened his eyes and before his eyes stood the most beautiful person he had seen in his whole life. Nandi looked at the God wanting to savour his image. He felt that he had nothing more left to ask. If only I could stay with the Lord always...

Shiva looked at Nandi with lots of love, 'Nandi, you penance was so powerful that it dragged me here immediately! Ask me anything I will grant it to you!' Shiva said.

'Lord I wish to be with you always.' The words were out of Nandi's mouth before he could stop them.

Shiva smiled. 'Nandi I have just lost my bull, on which I used to travel. Henceforth Nandi, you shall have a face of a bull. You shall stay in my home at Kailash. You shall be the head of all my Ganas...You will be my companion, my vehicle and my friend, always!'

Nandi closed his eyes as tears flowed through them.
Lord Shiva blessed him and said- "You are just like me, so you will never die".
Lord Shiva also gave one of his garlands to him. As soon as Nandi wore that garland he imbibed all the qualities of lord Shiva. After that Lord Shiva took out some water from his locks of hair and sprinkled on him, as a result of which five rivers came into existence. These five rivers were later on came to be known as Panchanad. Lord Shiva then made him the leader of all his ganas.
Later on goddess Parvati took Nandi under her guidance and considered him just like her own son. Nandi was married to Suyasha- the daughter of Marut. Ultimately all of them accompanied lord Shiva to his abode.

Since then Nandi became Shiva's vehicle, doorman, his companion and the head of all of Shiva's attendants – the Ganas. Thus by sheer devotion Nandi was not only able to overcome his fate, he also rewrote it!

A few days later the Devas and the Asuras together churned the ocean for nectar. However the first thing that emerged from the churning was the poison Halahal. The poison was so strong that it threatened to destroy the whole world. To protect the world, Lord Shiva collected the poison in his hand and swallowed it. Goddess Parvati who was near Lord Shiva clutched Shiva's throat to make sure that the poison was stored in the throat and would not affect Lord Shiva.

However some Halahal slipped out of Shiva's hands and fell on the ground. Nandi gathered the fallen Halahal and seeing his master drink it, he also drank it!

The Devas were staring shocked at what Nandi had done! Lord Shiva was a God and besides he had Goddess Parvati to protect him, so nothing would happen to Lord Shiva. But Nandi...

However nothing happened to Nandi. Shiva looked at the dumb folded gods and smiled, 'Nandi is my greatest devotee! All my powers are his too and Parvati's protection will go to him too!'

The three of them smiled and then returned to Kailash.

Nandi's boon
After Several years Nandis Father Shilada wants Nandi back to him but Nandi do not want to go with his father but on instruction of Shiva, Nandi agrees to go back with shilada but his heart is left in kailash.Observing that shilada again goes to shiva and says " Oh Lord I have commited mistake please accept Nandi again as your vehicle"
Lord Shiva comes to Nandi and accepts him as Vehicle again
And on the happiness of the Nandi worship towards him . Lord Shiva grants boon to Nandi
" Whatever everyone speaks in your ears will reach me directly". Hence From that day  it is believed that what ever wish we say to Nandi is head by Lord Shiva

Har Har Mahadev....

Frequently Asked questions on Hinduism

Question 1:

Does hindusism beleives in theory of God is one.

Yes hinduism also believe God is one but the reason why we have so many gods let me explain

Let me explain concept of god in hinduism Hinduism is a diverse system of thought with beliefs spanning monotheism, polytheism, panentheism, pantheism, monism, and atheism among others.
and its concept of God is complex and depends upon each individual and the tradition and philosophy followed. It is sometimes referred to as henotheistic (i.e., involving devotion to a single god while accepting the existence of others), but any such term is an overgeneralization.

Let me explain according to preaches how the above all types are satisfied in hinduism
In Many Puranas this story exist

at the begining of the world there was only one energy Called paramathma

1- Paramathma -Supreme soul - ( some say it was the combined soul of Male and Female)
In some puranas its also said as shivas ardhanarishwar form.
then Paramathma Divided into a form of 2

2.Male and Female.According to vishnu purana  - male form is considered as anantha swamy -
According Shaiva purana - It was just a never ending fire pillar from top to bottom.

3.Then  from male form  firepillar divides  itself into 3 males - Brahma - shrusti - creating
Vishnu - Sthiti Kartha - Maintainar - Adhi Narayan
Shiva - Laya Karak - Destroyer.- Jagath Pitha

Then the female form was - Adhi Shakti - Maa Durga- 9 forms of durga
Divided herself into 3 forms.
Saraswati - Knowledge
Lakshmi - Wealth
Parvathi - Strength

Brahma- Creator - to Create something vast knowledge is required and he has that in form of Saraswathy devi.
Vishnu - Maintains the world - to maintain anything which is created successfully - one needs wealth - not money but all kind of tools and equipments are also called as wealth . and it symbolises Lakshmi Devi.
Lord Shiva - Maheshwara- Destroyer-- Destruction needs lots of patience and energy to clear all the crap from the world -and thats Maha Shakti( Parvathi Devi).

From these Forms remaining all deities where created for many  handling different  roles and responsibilities to make human kind have a peacefull and happy life.

Question 2 :

So what are these all navagrahas, other gods like Ganesha , Karthikeya, and Krishna, stars, zodiac signs and etc?

Everyone in this world at least believes that we are not alone in this universe.
so and though everyone are born as a baby why we turn as different mentalities ?
its because everyone is unique.but everyone is not perfect . everyone has somekind of influence of the environment .
each  one is influenced differently based on their Resistance. So to get the resistance of any ill environment we refer each deity for different mannerism, behavior etc so based on that we try to worship it control.
Everyone knows Meditation gives peace but not everyone can get  peaceful mind just sitting idle.
they need some continuous motivation to reach the control on what they require. for which Chants are introduced. by reading some chants which where related to different deities human unconsciously start feeling its the chant and deity helping them but the reality  is they start getting control on what they where wishing its a kind of concentration .

And many ask me even why so many gods like ganesh and Krishna so many . As I said everygod has their responsibilities and to get control there would be a mental stability thinking someone else is going to do good for us and have peacefull mind by peacefull mind they start thinking right and solve self problems thinking god .
what are avatars - avatars of Vishnu - Vishnu is a Maintainer- means to make things work right and set right the conflicts between people there would be a leader always - those leaders who did good for all the world kind without any selfishness   are all considered to be vishnu avatarss because  Vishnu is Manager of the world who doesnt show any selfish ness just work for happiness of others.
So in those all managers famously 10  roles of different things in world as considered as Vishnu -
Fish , Tortoise, Lion, Pig - it might be anything which helped world are considered as Vishnu incarnation .

Question 3:
What are these many stories?
No one likes philosophies  and no one like to read history -
But each story of each and every Mankind is for some reason and everything has its good and bad.
different stories are regarding different morals.  and giving confidence that being and doing good always leads to victory and success.

Question 4.
Some Say Shiva is great some say Vishnu is great  so who is great?
Before reading answer I even wish you all to read this post which shows Shiva and Vishnu as one
Click Here to learn about Shankar Narayan Form

People who doesnt realise god is one will fight in that way -
In the Same Puranas vedas they also mentioned few things
the name "RAMA " is not only form of Vishnu but combined name of Shiva and Vishnu
in Om Na"ma" Shivaya is ma is removed it means no shiv means no god atall
and In Om Namo Na"ra"yana is Ra is removed it means  nothing .

And in the same puranas they mentioned that
Lord Brahma - Chants Lord Shiva - Because to give a new birth to the old athma ( soul) he should be aware of knowledge of  previous births deeds and result occured by that death.
Lord Vishnu Chants Lord Brahma - As  to give any responsibilities or the luxaries to the life he should know what was the reason of the  life of that soul was given birth .
Lord Shiva chants about Lord Vishnu (Narayan ) - Because - Based on the luxaries responsibilities given to life and how did they perform in their life based on that they would be  given different style of relief from the lifes responsibilities and give the retirement to the life. which will not be form of wealth but  form of peacefull death and freedom from lifecycle.

There is a Saying that - " Sansarik Vishnu me Byragi Shiv or Byragi Shiv me Sansarik Vishnu  basthe he "
Which means simply can be explained by following example.
" People who are in  relationships always wants to live peacefully staying  single. and people who are  Single always wants to get into the relationship "
There are even gods Lord Satyanarayana - Lord Dattatreya- who are considered to be combined form of 3 gods, Brahma Vishnu , Maheshwara. which clearly shows everyone is same and every god is one.

But as a human I do not think we are clever enough to debate on god . because we might develop in science and find different solutions to live long but we could not  overcome the death  and ageing and Cannot revert the time.
So according to me stop fighting on the name of god and spread peace- God  is nothing but short form of Good. God ness is nothing but spreading good to the whole world

Question 5

Why Have so many problems if really god wants us to be good and happy?

In World we do not know value until we have and we never know value until we strive hard for it .
similarly sometimes Your happiness could create problems to others Happiness . So to know value of others Happiness you need to strive hard for happiness which  results in you realizing the value of happiness so in-return would never try to destroy others happiness.

Realize the beuty of Gods creation and Enjoy his gift for us

Shiva As Ardhanarishwar and eight idols of Shiva

EIGHT IDOLS OF SHIVA
After describing about the five chief incarnations of lord Shiva, Suta explained about the eight famous idols of lord Shiva- Sharva, Bhava, Rudra, Ugra, Bhima, Pashupati, Ishan and Mahadeva. These eight idols of Shiva symbolizes the eight natural elements which help in the process of creation, nurturement and annihilation. These eight natural elements are Land, water, fire, air, sky, supreme soul (Kshetragya), Sun and the moon. Being established in these eight idols, Shiva controls the whole world.

SHIVA AS ARDHANARISHWAR- Accordig to Shiva Purana
Once upon a time Lord Brahma, not seeing an expansion in his creation became very worried. A heavenly voice instructed him to commence creation with the help of copulative activities. But since all the incarnation of Shiva had been males till then, therefore lord Brahma was finding it impossible.

Lord Brahma contemplated on the form of Shiva and Shakti. Lord Shiva became very pleased with him and appeared in his form of 'Ardhanarishwar (half male half female)
Left side of his body resembled like a woman while the right side appeared like a man.
Lord Brahma worshipped this form of Shiva.
Lord Shiva then separated the feminine part of his body and thus manifested mother Shakti. Lord Brahma worshipped her and requested to bestow such power by which he could create a woman.
Goddess Shakti blessed him by saying - 'So be it' and vanished. This way Lord Brahma became capable of commencing copulative creation.

SHIVA AS ARDHANARISHWAR -  According to Linga purana

Lord Brahma did an austere penance to please Lord Shiva. Shiva manifestated as Ardhnarishwar (partly male partly female) from his forehead and said--'I am your son'.

But, the unberabale heat emanating from the effulgence of Ardhanarishwar burnt the whole world including Lord Brahma.
Lord Shiva then separated the feminine part of his body (Goddess Parmeshwari) and instructed her to begin creation. Both Brahma and Vishnu manifested from the body of goddess Parmeshwari. Lord Vishnu divided his body into two halves and created the world. Lord Brahma once again did a tremendous penance which lasted for ten thousand years. Once again Shiva manifested from his forehead, but this time as Neelalohit. Lord Neela Lohit became pleased by Brahma's eulogy and blessed him.
