I salute the lotus feet of the guru. He is the place of happiness and bliss. Serving him man is able to cross the ocean of birth and death. With only remembering the guru, limitless obstacles vanish. Therefore, in beginning anything, all the saints meditate on him.

On the day of Guru Purnima, I bow my head to Sri Sri Nigamananda Paramhansa Dev, H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Sankar and all the past & present Gurus.

On this day, lets feel the gratitude for all the love and knowledge we got from HIM and make a firm resolve to serve one and all and create a Divine Society before we leave this planet.

"Gu" refers to darkness assuming the form of ignorance — in your inability to realise God’s presence and in thinking that we are separate from Him. "Ru" refers to radiance in the form of spiritual knowledge that can dispel the darkness of ignorance. The guru is part of God; with his radiance, he can dispel darkness and ignorance in the disciple.

Guru is not a physical form. Guru is energy. A guru needs nothing from you; it is you who needs him. He is a mirror that will show you your true self and helps you elevate yourself, provided you want to rise.

Introduction
The full moon day in the month of Ashadh (July) of the Hindu calendar is celebrated as Guru Purnima by all Hindus all over. This day is celebrated as a mark of respect to the “Guru” i.e. a teacher or a preacher.

This day is celebrated in the sacred memory of the great sage Vyasa, the ancient saint who compiled the four Vedas, wrote 18 Puranas, the Mahabharata and the Srimad Bhagavata.

The day, also known as “Vyasa Purnima” is observed by devotees who offer pujas (worship) to their beloved Gurus. Sage Vyasa is known to be the Adi (original) Guru of the Hindu religion. The auspicious day of Vyaasa Poornima has a great significance as everybody knows that the role of a Guru in real life is very much important.

Significance
The day of Guru Purnima has great significance for spiritual sadhaks and farmers. All spiritual aspirants and devotees worship Vyasa in honor of his divine personage and all disciples perform 'puja' of their respective spiritual preceptor or 'Gurudevas'. They offer flowers and sweets to their spiritual gurus. It is also good time to begin spiritual lessons from a guru. Traditionally, spiritual seekers commence to intensify their spiritual 'sadhana' from this day.

The day also finds a great importance for farmers. The period 'Chaturmas' ("four months") begins from this day. The water, drawn up and stored as clouds in the hot summer, now manifests in plentiful showers that brings fresh life everywhere.

                           Gururbrahmaa gururvishnuh gururdevo Maheswarah |
Guruh-saakshaat parambrahma tasmai shrigurave namah ||

“Guru is creator Brahma; Guru is preserver Vishnu; Guru is also the destroyer
Siva and he is the source of  the Absolute. I offer all my salutations to the Guru”.

Celebration
Hindus show much respect to their gurus. Gurus are often regarded as God. The Shvetashvatara Upanishad (6/23) tells :

“Yasya deve para bhaktir yatha deve tatha gurau
Tasyaite kathitaa hi arthaaha prakashante mahatmanaha”

This means, Guru to be worshipped in the same manner as the deity - God, to attain all there is to attain on the path of God-realization. When this Self is within you where is the need to search for someone to teach you!

On this day several programs and cultural performances are organized by spiritual organizations. Divine discourse and bhajan samarohas are also organized to make the day more special.

In India, Guru Purnima is celebrated at various ashrams, especially with much grandeur at Sivananda Ashram, Rishikesh. The day is celebrated here on a grand scale with devotees coming from various parts of the country. The same is also celebrated at ashram of Satya Sai Baba at Puttaparthy, Ashram in Amritapuri and few other places of spiritual importance. Guru Purnima is also celebrated few places outside India.

This is a day for spiritual seekers who remain extremely open to their gurus to receive divine power, and for this reason holy people choose this day to shower everyone with their most auspicious divine blessings.

Life Story Of Lord Gautam Buddha

In the year 624 BC, in Kapilawaththu (Nepal) Siddhartha Gautama was born as a prince. His father was King Suddhodana and his mother was Queen Mahamaya. When he was sixteen he finished his education and he married Princess Yasodara. King Suddhodana handed over his kingdom to his son Siddhartha. They had a baby name Rahula. When king Siddhartha was 29 years old he decided to renounce lay life. Siddhartha left from his kingdom and went to several well-known teachers to study the ultimate nature of reality. But their teachings didn’t satisfy him and he set out to find his own path. Six years later he went to Bodgaya near the Neranjana River and sat under a tree. Siddhartha's mind was calm and relaxed. As he sat his concentration deepened and his wisdom grew brighter. In this clear and peaceful state of mind he began to examine the true nature of life. "What is the cause of suffering,” he asked himself, “and what is the path to everlasting joy?" In his mind's eye he looked far beyond his own country, far beyond his own world. Soon the sun, planets, the stars out in space and distant galaxies of the universe all appeared to him in his meditation. He saw how everything, from the smallest speck of dust to the largest star was linked together in a constantly changing pattern: growing, decaying and growing again. Everything was related. Nothing happened without a cause and every cause had an effect on everything else. As he realized this, deeper truths appeared to his mind. He looked deeply into himself and discovered that his life as Siddhartha the Prince was but the latest in a series of lifetimes that had no beginning - and that the same was true of everyone. We are born, live and die not one time, but again and again. He saw that death is only the separation of the mind from its present body. After death the importance of Karma is central to the next journey. When one life ends, another begins - and in this way the wheel of death and birth keeps spinning around and around. He also saw one life to the next we are constantly changing and constantly affecting one another. Sometimes we are rich and comfortable; sometimes we are poor and miserable. Occasionally we experience pleasure, but more often we find ourselves with problems. And Siddhartha also saw that as our conditions change, so do our relations with others. We have all been each other's friend and enemy, mother and father, son and daughter thousands upon thousands of times in the past. Then he looked at all of the suffering in the world. And he saw how living beings create their own misery and joy. Blind to the truth that everything is always changing, they lie, steal and even kill to get the things that they want, even though these things can never give them the lasting happiness they desire. And the more their minds fill with greed and hate, the more they harm each other - and themselves! Each harmful action leads them to more and more unhappiness. They are searching for peace yet find nothing but pain. Finally, he discovered the way to end all this suffering. He was filled with a radiant clear light. He was no longer an ordinary person. With a calm and peaceful smile, he arose from his meditation. In the golden daybreak, so it is said, Siddhartha looked up and saw the morning star. And then a great understanding came to him. He saw in his mind all the life of the world and the planets; of all the past and all the future. He understood the meaning of existence, of why we are here on this earth and what has created us. At long last he found the truth; he attained enlightenment and established the principles of Karma. Now he was the Lord Buddha, the fully liberated one, awakened and enlightened. The search of six long years had ended. It was a day when the full-moon shone, casting a bright silver light on the whole countryside, a day in the month of Vesak (May).

But that heart is great where God manifests his qualities
MEANING
Though the bliss of God’s love is in the human heart, because of ignorance, people do not know it, and they search for happiness in wordly things. Instead of bliss they get disappointment. One should realize that God is dwelling in evry heart. And service to humanity is service to God

Goddess Sheetla Mata Wallpapers

Goddess Sheetla Mata Shitala Devi also called Sitala, is a Hindu goddess widely worshipped in North India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan as the pox-goddess. Shitala Devi literally means the cool Goddess. In Hinduism, Goddess Sheetala Mata is considered an aspect of Shakti. Sheetala Mata is also considered as an incarnation of Goddess Parvati and Durga, which are two forms of Shakti. Goddess Shitala is popular as Mariamman in Tamil Nadu. She is undoubtedly one of the most popular rural deities and her origin can be traced to the days of Nature Worship. Legend has it that Goddess Shitala wears a red-colored dress and rides around the villages in North India on a donkey (ass) and inflicting people with the dreaded pox –small pox, chicken pox etc. Symbolically, she represents Nature’s power of generating viruses causing disease and Nature’s healing power and is of tribal origin. She is depicted having four hands. In her four hands she carries a silver broom, winnow fan, small bowl and a pitcher with Gangajal, holy water from River Ganga. Occasionally, she is depicted with two hands carrying a broom and pitcher. Symbolically, Goddess Sheetala idol also emphasizes the need for cleanliness. According to Puranas, Shitala, the cooling one, was created by Lord Brahma. She was promised by Brahma that she will be worshipped as a Goddess on earth but she should carry the seeds of lentils. In folktales in North India, the lentil is ‘Urad dal.’ She then asked for a companion and she was directed to Lord Shiva, who blessed her and created Jvara Asura (the fever demon). It is said that he was created from the sweat of Lord Shiva. Shitala and Jvara Asura remained in Devaloka along with other gods and goddess. They used a donkey to transport the lentils to wherever they went. But the lentil seeds one day turned into smallpox germs and start to spread the disease among gods and goddesses. Finally, fed up with Goddess Shitala, gods asked her to go and settle in heaven where she will be worshipped. Shitala and Jvara Asura came down to earth and started hunting for a place to stay. They went to the court of King Birat, an ardent devotee of Shiva. He agreed to worship her and give a place in his kingdom but she will not get the respect given to Shiva. An angry Shitala demanded supremacy over all other gods and when King Birat did not budge. She spread different kinds of pox on the land and finally, the King had to agree to her wishes. Soon the disease and all its after effects were miraculously cured. The most important festival dedicated to her takes place in Chaitra month, the Ashtami day after Purnima (full moon) in the month is observed as Sheetala Ashtami. There are famous temples dedicated to Shitala Devi in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Beautiful Temple Gallery Of Lord Muktinatha Nepal

Muktinath Temple in Nepal ... beckoning the believer. SALIGRAMAM, POPULARLY known as Muktinath, a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists, is situated at an altitude of 3,710 metres in the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal — the summit of Dhaulagiri in Himalayan Mountain Ranges in Mustang District. Hindus call it Mukthi Kshetra (The Salvation Valley) while Buddhists call it Valley Chumming Gyatsa (in Tibetan language it means the place of 108 waterspouts) and believe that Guru Rimpoche (Padmasambhava) the founder of Tibetan Buddhism meditated here on his way to Tibet. The holy shrine, which is said to have risen on its own, is one of eight such shrines (the others include Srirangam, Sri Mushnam, Tirupati, Naimisaranyam, Thottadri, Pushkaram and Badrinath). It is also one of 108 Vaishnava shrines. Only those who are willing to undergo physical discomfort and rigour can go to Muktinath. Above all, one should have the Grace of the Lord to visit Muktinath. The convenient routes to Muktinath from India are: via Gorakhpur, Sonauli, Bhairawa and Pokhara, the last big town on the way to Muktinath; via Raxaul, Birgunj and Pokhara or via Darjeeling, Siliguri, Kakar Bhitta and Pokhara. Indian citizens do not need a visa, but must possess some sort of identity, such as ration card, election identity card or PAN Number. There are convenient, buses from Bhairawa, Birgunj and Kakarbhitta, which are the border towns of Nepal, to Pokhara. There is no service road to Muktinath and hence one cannot go to Muktinath either by bus or any other vehicle. After reaching Pokhara one has to go trekking the entire route or travel partly by bus up to Beni or Birethanti (Nayapul) and then either by foot or pony or by flight from Pokhara to Jomson and then again either by foot or pony or by helicopter from Pokhara to Muktinath. The helicopter is ideal for women and the aged as it lands near the temple. One can return to Pokhara on the same day after taking a holy bath in the 108 waterspouts and worshipping the Lord. There are flights between Pokhara and Jomsom during the day. Royal Nepal Airlines, Gorka Airlines, Buddha Airlines and Everest Airlines fly to Jomsom and back from Pokhara, starting from about 6 a.m. There is no other flight after morning hours due to the strong winds that set in around 10 a.m. Jomsom, a large village on the way to Muktinath where the trek begins, has hotels that provide boarding and lodging facilities. Generally pilgrims hire well-trained ponies at Jomsom to take them to Muktinath. The pony rider acts as a guide too. It is advisable to take the pony ride, as it is less strenuous when compared to trekking. Because trekking 21 km from about 250 m to 3700 m is no ordinary task. It takes about six to seven hours. As the path goes upward it becomes increasingly difficult to walk for more than 10 minutes without resting. Strong winds blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For half the distance to Muktinath, one has to travel on the Gantaki riverbed after which the route branches off. From there the path slowly winds up dusty mountain ridges with hardly a blade of grass. At the end of the 21 km route there are three villages. As Ranipauwa village is close to the temple and as it has boarding and lodging facilities, pilgrims can stay there. There are different opinions about the actual Muktinath. While some say there is no other place except this one, there are some who aver that Damodarkund by the side of Gantaki river, 104 km from Kathmandu, is the real Muktishetra and others who claim that Muktinath is another six days travel by foot, where pilgrims can collect saligramams right from the river. Another six days of trekking! That too in difficult terrain where oxygen is scarce! For those of us who cannot even think of undertaking such a journey, it is better to return after worshipping the Lord here — the place Saint Ramanujar visited. There is a minaret recording the visit of Sri Ramanuja giving authenticity to the belief of scores of devotees visiting Muktinath. Periazhwar and Thirumangai Azhwar have sung 12 Pasurams and glorified the deity. At the temple Presiding deity: Mukti Narayana in a standing posture; Goddess: Sridevi and Bhoodevi; Sacred Water: Chakra Theertham; Tower: Kanakavimanam. Behind the temple there are 108 faucets in the shape of a head of a bull, closely arranged in a semi-circle with a gap of hardly a foot between the faucets, at a height of seven feet. Water from River Gantaki must have been diverted to flow through the mouth of the bull. Pilgrims who visit the temple take a holy bath in each of these spouts. But as the water is ice cold it requires burning desire and courage to take a holy bath here. In addition to Lord Narayana, Lakshmi and Bhoodevi the temple depicts brass images of Goddess Saraswati and Janaki and Garuda, Lava-Kusa and the Sapta Rishis. After completing prayer and puja at the temple a visit to Mharme Lha Khang Gomba, the monastery dedicated to Guru Rimpoche (Padmasambhava) with his huge image situated to the North of Muktinath and Mebar Lha Gomba, the monastery of `miraculous fire', with the main deity Chineresig, under which natural gas is continuously burning, situated South of Muktinath temple where Hindus worship the fire as Jwala Mai (Goddess of fire), and also Gomba Samba, a newly built monastery with main deities Sakyamuni, Chingresig and Guru Rimpoche situated at left from entrance gate of Muktinath temple complex, would be worth it. While undertaking a pilgrimage to Muktinath, it is advisable to cover Lumbuni, Valmika Ashramam, Dev Ghat, Monakamna, Kathmandu, Janakpur, Danush and Varaha Kshetra so as to complete Nepal trip.

Lord Shiva Famous Temple Chidambaram Temple

Chidambaram is one among the five holiest Shiva temples, each representing one of the five natural elements; Chidambaram represents akasha (ether). The other four temples in this category are the Thiruvanaikaval Jambukeswara,Trichy (water), Kanchi Ekambareswara (earth) Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai Arunachaleswara (fire),Thiruvannamalai and Kalahasti Nathar (wind),Kalahasti. Chidambaram temple is one of the most ancient and most celebrated of shrines in India. It has been of great religious as well as historic and cultural significance. Chidambaram temple is mainly associated with Nataraja, or Shiva in his Ananda Tandava pose (the Cosmic Dance of bliss) in the cosmic golden hall and the hall of consciousness (Chit Sabha). At the temple there is a stone image of Krishnadevaraya in the North Gopura which is said to have been erected by him. In the wars of the 18th century, this great temple was used as a fort, especially when the British General Sir Eyre Coote unsuccesfully tried to capture it from the Mysore Kings. During this period, the images of Nataraja and Sivakamasundari were housed in the Tiruvarur Tyagaraja temple for safety. Legends associated with this temple are Aadi Sesha, the serpent (couch) of Vishnu, heard from Vishnu the grandeur of Shiva's cosmic dance. Filled with irrepressable desire to witness this dance in person at Chidambaram, the Seshan descended to the earth as Patanjali (the one who descended). Vyagrapaadar who is another devotee of Shiva prayed to obtain the tiger's claws so that he could obtain with ease the sacred Vilva leaves meant for Shiva's worship at Chidambaram. At the appointed hour, Shiva (with Sivakami) granted to Patanjali and Vyagrapaadar, a visual treat in the form of his Cosmic Dance of Bliss, to the accompaniments of music played by several divine personalities in the Hindu pantheon. This Dance of Bliss is said to have been witnessed by Vishnu, and there is a Govindaraja shrine in the Natarajar temple commemorating this. The dance of bliss of Shiva, is also said to have been enacted upon Shiva's (Bhikshatana) victory over the married ascetics of Daruka Vanam.

Classical bhajans with lyrics

Classical bhajans have a unique soothing and relaxing effects on mind ,soul and body .It has been scientifically proved . Over and above all they are very deep in their meanings if understood impact directly at heart .

HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE
HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE

If anybody has to be crazy about classical song just try to understand what are the words and their meanings in the song .You will feel to be in another world .Though there are many songs which I myself am unable to understand yet i think that the songs which i know are quite far from people's reach .I would like to share these songs with their lyrics to others .Perhaps it will be one the best services which I can do for the God .

Know something about the history of the classical bhajans

The Bhaktikal in India - The age ruled out by Akbar was a great gift to India . He was not only responsible for the good governance in India . He had many incredible qualities in him . Though he was a muslim but even then he had a great respect for the hindus and the Hinduism in his heart . Whatever may be the reason for the grace of God on India at that time but it really was a great time for indians and India . All the people in India were blessed .All had a calm mind and a very sentimental heart in which god lived himself .The saints like Kabirdas ,Surdas , Mirabai , Tulsidas , raidas and many others took birth allover in India .They all possessed a great devotion for God.They were always satisfied .Their self-satisfaction can be expressed by a story of saint Raidas -

Once a merchant had to go out of village and he thought that he should keep his golden ornaments and precious stones to any such man who is reliable .In his view no ane was as honest in the village as the Saint Raidas . He then took all his assets to the saint and asked him whether he would help him .The saint agreed to save his assets and told him to keep the ornaments on the place of his will in the saint's house . After few days when the saint's wife was cleanning the house she did'nt see the ornaments and dumped it with the garbages .Both of the couples were not aware of the ornaments and didn't remember them even .When the merchant came back and asked for his assets the saint told him to see it on the same place where he had kept it .He got nothing on that place and started shouting and crying ,saying that the saint had cheated him .But the saint was not bewildered on the merchant's reaction .He took the merchant to the bank of a river and told that he didn't have any indulgence in these material things then why should he steal those things .Why should he steal his gold and stones when he was able to get a lot of them .Merchant asked how ? Raidas just dipped his hands in the river and when he took his both fists out the merchant was shocked to see radient big stone named 'Paras' in his hands .When the saint get ferrous things in touch with the stone whole of the object the transformed into a
golden object .

Prabhu ji tum chandan hum paani

Prabhu ji tum deepak hum baati
JAki jyot bare din rati

Prabhu ji tum moti hum dhaga

Prabhu ji tum swami hum dasa
Aisi bhakti kare Raidasa

English meaning of the song -Lord , if you are sandelwood I am water .
With the fragrance in all parts of my body .
Lord , if you are a cloud I am the peacock
Looking for you as a chakora( a bird) looks at moon .
Lord , if you are a pearl I am the thread.
As the Borax(a chemical powder used as flux in gold smelting) mixes in the gold
Lord , if you are a lamp I am the wick
With the light burning day an night
Lord , if you are master I am the servant
Thus is the devotion of raidasa .

A very nice and popular bhajan from this great saint Raidas

Find meaning of the song -

The Lord who removes the pain of the sufferers and is well doer of the saints
Azamil , the vulture , the hunter ,, say who was perfect among them ,
Who gave a higher destination to a bird and made the Ganika (a man who lives with a prostitute. -here Azamil )to move accross this bhavasagar...
Who versed Druva's head with canopy, and saved Prahalad
For the sake of devotee who constructed the bridge by going to Lanka puri .
When the alligator grabbed the Gajraj (the elephant) in his jaws ...who came to save him ..

Meaning-

This is a b'ful bhajan expressing the grief of Gajaraj who has been cpatured in the water by the alligator .The gajraj went there to offer prayer to God and at that time this all happened .It is said that he prayed to the lord so intensley by his heart that Lord Vishnu instantly reached there and saved the elephant by beheading the alligator by his "Sudarshan" Chakra .
At that time whatever he narrated all those words are the important part of "Srimad Bhagwat Mahapurana " and this whole instance is collected together as "Gajendra Moksha".

Oh Govind Oh Gopal ,keep me in your shelter as I am loosing my life .
I went to drink the water at  the bank of river .In the river there lies an alligator who has grabbed my legs and thus he is drawing me in the water .
Whole day we had a conflict but he taken me to the edge , now my nose and ears are drowned and are calling only Krishna .
Sur das ji says that the elephant says Oh Shyam please listen to me I am only in your shelter .Oh dearest of Nand ji this time you take me accross this jolt .

Prabhu ji mere avaguna chit na dharo

Lyrics-

Prabhu more avagun chit na dharo
samdarshi hai naam tiharo chahe to paar karo

ek nadiya ek naar kahave mailo neer bharo
jab dou mil ke ek baran bhaye sursari naam paryo

ek loha pooja mein raakhat ek ghar badhik paryo
paaras gun avagun nahi chitvat Kanchan karat kharo

ek  jeev ek brahma kahave Sur Shyam jhagaro
abki ber mohi paar utaaro nahi pan jaat taryo

Meaning -

O Lord please dont keep any faults in my mind
Your name is equanimous
please take me under your shelter.
There is a river and a gutter that is filled with dirty water .
Both of them when meet together they are known with name of the ocean .
(sense: means men are divided in ill witted and a good witted person .They are compared with the river water and the gutter water. Both types of these are there in this world but where they all finally meet is an ocean that does not differentiate between these two gives space to both of them equally in the same way.Lord you are ocean where these two meet and accquire same colour of nature .)
Surdas ji again says that there is an iron that is used in the holy worships while there is another that lies with a brutal butcher .This is not a dilemma for the "Paras" (a stone that is characterized by turning all ferrous objects to golden ones), it converts all the iron in the form of pure gold.
(sense:you shold also not differentiate between good and bad and should shape everyone in one form that is you .)
He says there is a soul and a supersoul ,Surdas ji fights with the lord ... and says this time you need to take me accross this world I am not able to leave the proud in me so cant cross it by ownself .

Suni ri maine nirbal ke balram

nirbal hoi balram pukaro aayen aadhe naam

ap-bal tap-bal aur bahu-bal chautha bal hai bal-dam
sur kishor kripa se sab bal haare ko hari naam

Meaning-

Surdas ji says that I have heard that the power of weak is Ram .
If I take an account of the saints in the past He has made all aggravated tasks .
Till the gajraaj used up his strength he wasnt able to do anything but as he got weak and called up Ram ,the Lord reached there so fast that even gajraj had just narrated half of Lord's name .
The day when daughter of Drupad got weak ,He came leaving his abode .He took the form of saaree and the hands of Duhshashan got tired while winding it off .
The power of enchanting , the power of penance and the power of arms and the fourth power is of lord .
Surdas ji says all powers are due to grace of "Kishore" so those who have become loosers should only remember the name of "Hari".

This a song illustrating the state of mind of Bharat ji when he knew that Ramchandra ji with Sita ji and Laxman went on an exile just because of his mother Kaikayi .He says these words to his mother ...

Janani (means mother ) O mother I wont live without Ram .
Ram Laxman and Sita ji went to the jungle and father (Dashrath ji ) went to the abode of Gods i.e heaven .
As the dawn brokes I will also go to the  forests what is the need to stay in Ayodhya .
You(Kaikayi) the Deceitful , cunning , wicked and unfortunate who has taken away your knowledge ?
The Gods , humans and the saints all are blaming that you havent done right ..
Tulsidas ji says that Bharat ji says now I only have the hope of the Feet of Lord because the creator has become left to me (means against me) .

Ghan ghamand nabh garjat ghora

lyrics-

Ghan ghamand nabh gartjat ghora ,piya heen darpat man mora
Damini damak rahat nabh mahi , khal ke preeti jatha thir nahi
Barasahi jalan bhoomi niyraaye , jatha nabhahin guni vidya paaye

Chhudra nadi bahi chali tyorayi , jas tyoreiun dal khal itrai
Sarita jal jal nidhi mahoon jaayi , hoohin achal jin jeev hari paayi .

Meaning(must read) -

Sri Ram chandra ji says to Laxman ji :

The proudy clouds are roaring in the sky ,my mind is being afraid without my sweetheart(Sita ji).
The lightening is making the clouds bright in the same way as the love for one is not stable for a wicked .
The rainwater is falling down to flow on the land in the same way as the knowledge itself moves towards a skilled person .
The mountains are tolerating the impact of the rainwater drops in the same way as nobel person tolerate the abusing words from the wicked.
The little river after getting the rainwater flows inundating the areas being overwhelming in the same way as the group of the wicked gets overwhelming after getting little.
The streaming riverwaters are falling in the ocean and are getting calm like ocean in the same way as the disturbed soul(atma)or jeev becomes peaceful after mixing in the supersoul(paramatma)or Hari.

What is the name of your village and why have you left that place ?

Ram Chandra ji says - In the north direction there is a city named Ayodhya where there is the place under sovereignity of King Dashrath .We both (Ram and Laxman )are the sons of the same king , following the order of  mother we have left our place .

All the women of village ask from Sita ji - Who is your lover who is your brother in law ?
Sita ji smiles and says in sweet words - The man with dark complexion is my lover and the white one is my brother-in-law .
Tulidas ji says that the women of the village say - My mind has been plundered by "Janaki Raman "  (means the husband of Janki or Sita ji : Ram chandra ji )

Jaake priya na Ram Baidehi

Jaake priya na Raam Baidehi
So chhadiye koti bairi sam , yadyapi param sanehi .

Bali guru tyajo kant brij banitani bhaya mud mangalkari

To whom Ram and Sita are not loving
Leave him/her like a crore of enemies ,though he/she is very loving to you .

, Vibhishan left his brother (Ravana) and Bharat left his mother (Kaikayi)
Bali left his Teacher (Shukracharya) and the women of vraj left their husbands and thus became happy and fortunate .
Whatever relation you have to consider just make it with Ram chandra ji who is the  closest and most useful .
How is that black eye powder that applying it you loose your sight , how much I need to say ?
Tulsidas ji says in each way He is the best , the most adorable, and loving so in what way you fall in love with the feet of Ram , follow that ... it is my opinion .

Meaning from Vinay Patrika :

You are merciful and I am destitute; You grant wishes and I am the seeker. I am a well-known fallen one and You absolve away the heap of sins. You protect the orphans, and there is no orphan like me [hence, protect me]. There is no pain-absolver like You and I am in immense pain [hence, absolve my pain].||1-2||

You are the Brahman and I am a [destitute] living-being; You are the Preceptor and I am a disciple. You are for my benefit in each way — as father, mother, preceptor, or friend. My relations with You are infinite [since You are present in everything], so assume the one You like. At least, this way, Tulsi will get refuge in Your dual-feet.||3-4||

by the fire .
This world is a yard of thorns ,one has to die getting
trapped in it .
Listen o saint brothers one has to die getting trapped in
it .

Meaning -

Kabirdas ji waS VERY INTELLIGENT . He understood the reality of this universe .A better scientific definition of this world can be understood by this column by him .

Ram the flawless one is different and He has scattered anjan (the black powder: here used for maya or illusion )everywhere .
Omkaar (the cosmic background sound) is originated by this contamination (maya)and it has spreaded out everywhere .Even Brahma ,Shankar and Indra and even Govind with the
gopis all are smirched .This black powder (maya)has made the voice and the vadas and it has taken different forms .Learning ,reading , recitation ,the ancient books all are products of this maya .Knowledge cheapened , mouthed for free is also dirty with this illusion .
The leaf in the oblation is illusion , illusion is the God in the shrine .They do eveything in and with this illusion and use it for everything .
This illusion sings and this illusion dances and it shows infinite stretch .It ha its expansion where where and how much that the actions of donation ,virtues, penance ,pilgrimage all come under its limit.Kabir das ji says only few among millions awakens to get accross this illusion targeting the real infinite .

meaning-

Kabirdas ji here compares a man with the deer wandering in
the forest of this world .
He says oh deer be careful while grazing the forest .
Graze in one forest , graze in another forest but dont put
your legs in the third one .
In the third forest there are five hunters(five senses), dont
be visible to them .
They will kill you , will sell your meat and will make the
sheet of your skin .
Kabir das ji says oh saint brother keep your mind in the feet
of guru .

Our acclaimation to the Durge maa who removes catastrophe
The killler of sumbha demon Mother Bahvani , our acclaimation to you .

You are the oldest power and lies in the form of  Brahma or supreme power
All the four Vedas praise as the mother of this world .

Brahma ji ,Shiv ji and Vishnu ji keep offering prayer to you
And the deties , human and knowledgeous meditates on you .

You are adorned with eight arms and sword in the hand
You rides over the Lion and you  accomplish all  desires

Brahmanand ji says - I have come in your shelter
Oh Queen take me accross this world .

Shree Ram kahen samjhayi

Banwas pita ne dinha

Yeh likhiya lekh vidhata ji
Mere man mana mein shok kachhu nahi

Sukh dukh sab daiva adheena
Nahi koi kisis ka kinha ji
Jag murakh jana bharmayi

Bhag binhu yah nahi ji
Brahmanand na man ghabarayi

Meaning-

Shree Ram ji makes Laxman ji to understand
o brother Laxman listen to me -

Our father gave us benevolence
I accepted his order to my head
with the delightful daughter of Janak ji

there is no fault of mother Kaikayi
This fate has been written by the creator
There is no sorrow in my mind

All the happiness and sadness is in the hands of God
No body does anything wrong for anyone .
Only this world muzzes the fools .

The state of work is most powerful
no body gets different from that (means different than his Karma )
Brahmanand ji says so there is no reason for the mind to swallow .

Bhajhoo re man(b'ful bhajan by Jagjeet singh ji)

Meaning of this song -

O mind just worship the lotus feet of the son of Nanda, which make one fearless. Having obtained this rare human birth, cross over this ocean of worldly existence through the association of saintly persons.

Both in the day and at night I remain sleepless, suffering the pains of the heat and cold, the wind and the rain. For a fraction of flickering happiness I have uselessly served wicked and miserly men.

It is the desire and great longing of Govinda Dasa to engage himself in the nine processes of bhakti, namely hearing the glories of Lord Hari and chanting those glories, constantly remembering Him and offering prayers to Him, serving the Lord's lotus feet, serving the Supreme Lord as a servant, worshiping Him with flowers and incense and so forth, serving Him as a friend, and completely offering the Lord one's very self.

Lyrics -

Bhajahoon re man sri nand nandan abhaya charan arvind hey
Durlabh manav janam satsange tar jaave bhav sindh re
Sheet Aatap Vatavariyat , ae din aavanijaani re
Biphale sevenu kripan durjan chapal sab sukh lagi re...
Sravan Kirtan Smaran Vandan Paadsevan Dasya re
Poojan Sakhijan Atmanivedan , Govind Das abhilashi re...
